Calling all Super Heroes and Super-Villains: The Art of the Brick: DC Comics will have its worldwide premiere on Sunday 21 November 2015 at Powerhouse Museum, Sydney – the exclusive Australian venue for this exhibition.
Created by legendary LEGO® artist Nathan Sawaya, this contemporary art exhibition uses hundreds of thousands of bricks to create large-scale sculptures of the most enduring Super Heroes and Super-Villains: from Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, to The Joker and Harley Quinn. Red Bull Billy Cart is an event in which amateur drivers and their fearless team of three build and race homemade billy cart vehicles. Each handmade machine is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull. This unique, non-motorised racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous billy cart dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race.

Each November, the legendary Festival of Fisher's Ghost comes alive in Campbelltown. The Festival is steeped in history, dating back to 1956. The MS Sydney to the Gong Ride is Australia’s most respected and spectacular one day community bike ride, held on 1 November 2015 (Sunday).

Run for Your Lives is a zombie apocolypse 5km obstacle course fun run.

The Towers of Tomorrow LEGO Exhibition the Museum of Sydney, open daily 10am to 5pm (running until Sunday 19 April 2015) and with fun for young and old! The Indian Festival of Lights, is the most widely celebrated festival of the people from the Indian sub-continent and across the whole world.
Deepavali means rows of lights, it is the festival symbolising victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Though there are many mythological explanations to this wonderful festival, however, in the current world what the festival of lights really stands for is a reaffirmation of hope, a renewed commitment to friendship, religious tolerance, spreading the word of peace and harmony and above all, celebration of “simple joys of life”. Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) holds its annual Open Day with fire stations across the State to give visitors a personal glimpse into Australia's busiest fire and rescue service. Open Day coincides with the launch of FRNSW’s Winter Fire Safety Campaign. Open Day includes safety demonstrations, fire station tours and the chance to inspect firefighting equipment and trucks used by our firefighters when responding to fires and other emergencies. There is also an array of activities for kids. Visitors can also speak to firefighters first-hand about fire safety in the home, including how to install and maintain smoke alarms and how to develop a home escape plan to ensure they can quickly and safely escape a fire. 'Actions for Tomorrow' - Yangjiang Group. The exhibition focuses on two distinct bodies of work that will include wax-encased sculpture, kinetic elements, and a specially commissioned large-scale calligraphic mural spanning several metres of the gallery walls.
